“My husband commissioned a ring from Kinvara as a birthday present, after he had bought some of her ready to wear items previously and we’d been really impressed. I’d hoped to find an electric neon blue paraiba tourmaline but since these stones are really rare, I’d kind of left it up to them to decide my rings fate. Kinvara was incredible. She kept in touch throughout and sent me photographs of masses of different suggestions – of stone, of cut, of clarity, of price(!) and of setting. “Kinvara and I had always planned that she would make me an engagement ring. Although it took me a long time to settle on the idea to get engaged (6 years), Kinvara’s patience echoed her ability to deliver. It was critical that this remained discrete for the duration as she is very friendly with my now fiancé and a large group of my friends. Not only is Kinvara an excellent designer, she even managed to teach me a few key things about diamonds by the end. All I knew was that I was to look for a cushion cut diamond and that was largely the extent of my contribution. Over many weeks and consultations Kinvara walked me through the key steps and assured me that this process was worth investing time in. I believe that having someone that knows the recipient of such an important piece of jewellery is integral to achieving the perfect end result.
